Vandoeuvre-Lès-Nancy: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Nature

The Bois de la Champelle is a 61.51-hectare municipal deciduous forest and offers two walking trails. In June 2016, it was incorporated into the “Refuges Nature ASPAS” network of the Association pour la Protection des Animaux Sauvages. The forest is supported by the Fédération FLORE 54; it protects all wildlife, and hunting is prohibited.

Views

The Chapelle Notre Dame des Pauvres offers a beautiful panorama and is also home to an orientation table. From the heights of Vandœuvre, the sweeping view extends as far as the Grand Couronné. The view from there also reaches the Portois and the central Vosges.

Culture

In old Vandoeuvre, a winegrowing village on the hillside, there are charming houses dating from the 16th to the 18th century. The Sainte Melaine Church dates from the 15th and 16th centuries and houses a Pietà, sculptures and interesting stained-glass windows.

The 3.54-kilometre “3.54” art trail runs through Vandœuvre and its parks. It presents works by local, national and international artists. Since 2000, the Centre Culturel André Malraux has been designated a “Scène Nationale” by the French Ministry of Culture.

Market

The Marché de Vandoeuvre offers food products such as fruit and vegetables, meat, fish, dairy products, baked goods and spices. The range also includes industrially manufactured, handcrafted and ready-made goods.
