In the centre of Taillet stands the 12th-century Romanesque Church of Saint-Valentin. The parish church of Saint-Valentin was consecrated in 1141. The Church of Saint-Valentin contains 12th-century marble baptismal fonts from Céret, which were restored and reinstalled in 2019.

History and Culture
The slate masonry of the Notre-Dame del Roure Chapel dates from the 12th century; its barrel-vaulted apse preserves frescoes from the late 12th century. The Pla de l’Obra dolmen was discovered by Jean Abelanet on 4 February 1964. It is cited as evidence that Taillet was built on a prehistoric site.
The centre of Taillet is characterised by façades with exposed stone masonry.
