Nature

Visitors to the Sentier des Esplanes in the Réserve naturelle de Py can use an interpretive booklet. The Sentier de Cantapoc is a marked 7 km trail in the Réserve naturelle de Py with a walking time of 3 hours and 334 m of ascent.

The hike to the Pic de Tres Estelles is a difficult 7.2 km circular route starting in Py. The 2,099 m-high Pic de Tres Estelles offers panoramic views over the Têt Valley.

Hiking

The GR®10 runs along a section from Ras de la Carançà to Py.

The Cortal de Les Esplanes is a stone mountain farmstead. Farmsteads of this kind were used temporarily in spring and autumn for livestock farming and agriculture. From the village of Py, it can be reached on foot in about 45 minutes via the yellow-marked Sentier de Les Esplanes and is located beside the trail.

Culture

The Église Saint-Paul in Py has a rare floor plan with two naves; the side nave is built above a barrel-vaulted crypt. It also has a square bell tower with five levels and characteristic elements of Lombard architecture, including stone rosettes, decorative discs and windows with double reveals.
