Culture and History
The Église Sainte-Marie in Nasbinals was built in the 11th and 12th centuries. It was remodelled in the 14th century without losing its Auvergne Romanesque style. A limestone sundial dating from 1500 is carved into the outer wall of its south chapel.
Local Life
At the heart of the Aubrac Plateau, Nasbinals’ weekly market welcomes locals and visitors. A selection of local specialities is available there.
Hiking and Nature
There are 47 short hiking trails in the Nasbinals canton; four of them start at the tourist office.
The Les Granges circuit – Trail No. 42 starts in Nasbinals and is accessible to everyone. It is 9.9 km long, classified as easy and has a stated duration of one hour. The circuit focuses on fauna, flora, history and cultural heritage, as well as viewpoints.
Another listed hike is the route to Notre-Dame de la Sentinelle, which is 6.5 km long and takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.
Winter and Activities
The Station du Fer à Cheval is located 2 km from Nasbinals, has a ski lift and offers equipment hire for all disciplines. In winter, the station offers alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, Nordic hiking and sledging areas.
Around the Station du Fer à Cheval, the Parc Aventure Aubrac offers around three adventure courses, including a secured course for children aged three and over and a nature trail accessible to everyone.
