The “Gabriac et ses 4 hameaux” hiking trail provides insights into the traces of a way of life shaped by agropastoralism. Hiking this trail is not recommended in rainy weather, as there are slippery sections and crossings of waterways. From Florac, it can be reached via the Corniche des Cévennes and the C1; from Sainte-Croix, via the D24 and the C1.

Culture
The Chapelle de Gabriac is a medieval church that was recently restored. It is the former parish church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, which was built near the castle. The church has a rectangular floor plan and a Romanesque slate apse with a vault designed as a cul-de-four.
The former magnanerie near the Chapelle de Gabriac is a typical Cévennes building. In the 19th century, silkworms were bred and fed there.
Food and Drink
La ferme du Rivet grows berries, including strawberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants, as well as apples, chestnuts and aromatic plants. It offers its produce as sorbets, ice cream, juices and other confectionery. These products are sold at regional markets and in farm shops in Lozère and the Gard.
Nature
The Natura 2000 site Vallée du Gardon de Mialet is located within the municipality of Gabriac. Gabriac also has two ZNIEFF areas, designated as natural areas of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest.
