The Église Saint-Julien, Saint-Vincent in Nébian is of Romanesque origin and dedicated to Saint Julien de Brioude. Its nave was probably built in the 14th century, while the chapels date from the 15th or 16th century. The façade was reconstructed in 1843; in 1909, the straight-ended chancel was replaced by a polygonal chancel.
“Nébian à hauteur d'enfant” is a playful historical tour through the streets and to the remains of Nébian. It was created in collaboration with the Conseil Municipal des Jeunes de Nébian, covers 1 km, takes around two hours and is rated easy. The tour begins at Nébian Town Hall and ends in the Jardin Public.

Nature and Landscape
The Sentier des Garrigues leads to the Roc du Cayla. From its rocky cliff, there are views of the middle Hérault Valley as well as the foothills, the Pic de Vissou and the Caroux.
The Sentier des Garrigues is a 5.5 km, approximately two-hour circular hiking trail of moderate difficulty in Nébian. Its starting point is at the Espace Pierre de Laroque in Nébian. Less than a ten-minute walk away is the NEBIAN – EMB. RD609 bus stop, served by routes between Clermont L’Hérault, Fontès, Lodève and Pézenas.
Hiking Trails
The “De la Tourelle aux Meules” hike first leads to the ruins of the Tourelle and then to the Chapelle Saint Jean. It passes over the Pichaures hill, offering a 360-degree panoramic view, and ends via the Chemin aux 1000 plantes, a botanical trail created by local schoolchildren. In total, it is 15 km long, takes around four and a half hours and is considered a moderately difficult circular hiking trail in Nébian.
