In the museographic exhibition space “Les Lumières de la Mine”, a collection of miners’ lamps and other mining objects presents mining from the 18th century to the present day. Culture and History
The Château de Cazillac was built in the 13th century by the monks of Joncels as a fortified house. Its courtyard and gardens are open to visitors. Reservations are required to visit “Les Lumières de la Mine”; guided tours organized by the municipality are also available.
The Église Saint-Vincent dates from the 17th century. Its bell gable, built at the beginning of the 20th century, houses a carillon with four bells. The parish church of Saint-Martin was built between 1864 and 1869 on the site of a church that had already been mentioned since the 12th century.
