The Grotte de la Fileuse de Verre is the only publicly accessible cave in the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc. It features exceptional and magnificent mineral formations.
Culture and History
The Grotte de la Fileuse de Verre was discovered in 1886 during work on the former railway line. The Espace de découverte du monde souterrain and its 3D room complement the visit to the cave.
The Church of Notre-Dame de Courniou was built in 1692.

Paths and Historical Traces
Most of the capitelles on the Sentier des Capitelles date from the first half of the 19th century. An information sheet for visitors describes the 13 stations along the Sentier des Capitelles. The route can be completed in more than an hour.
The Voie Verte du Haut-Languedoc Passapaïs is around 75 kilometres long and allows non-motorised travel from Bédarieux to Mazamet, for example by bicycle, on foot or on horseback.
Lo Camin Nòstre is a hiking trail in Prouilhe. It runs through a beech forest and leads to former slate quarries. Lo Camin Nòstre also reaches the remains of the former Roucan colony.

A landscaped path on the limestone massif of Devèze enables visitors to discover flora that favours dry, stony and sunny soils.
