At the Domaine du château, the first castle was built in 1305 by Guillaume de Nogaret. The square keep and its turret are all that remain of the first castle. In the second half of the 16th century, a Renaissance castle was also built on the Domaine du château. The castle complex, including its outbuildings and gardens, was classified as a historic monument by decree of 20 October 1995.
Culture and History
The Musée Paul Pastre is located in the lower rooms of the castle; the entrance is in the courtyard of the manor house. Spread across four rooms and covering 400 m², it presents the local history. The collection includes various objects relating to the traditions of the Camargue, viticulture and the former cooperative winery, as well as former crafts.
The Arènes de bouvine were built in 1960 at the expense of the municipality. The Courses à la cocarde held on Marsillargues' main square have been part of local life since the revolutionary festivals. The surface of the square, the barriers delimiting the track on public land at Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, and the surrounding façades were listed as historic monuments by decree of 22 February 1993.

Nature and Cycling Routes
The very easy mountain bike circular route “Les berges du Vidourle” is 8.5 km long and starts at the Marsillargues bridge. It follows the peaceful banks of the Vidourle and passes through apple orchards, allowing visitors to discover the local fauna and flora. The route can be reached via the MARSILLARGUES – CLG L. DIOT bus stop on the Lunel–Marsillargues line.
The “Circuit en Petite Camargue” mountain bike route starts in Marsillargues, has no incline and is approximately 24 km long; it allows visitors to discover apple orchards as well as the fauna and flora along the banks of the Vidourle.
