In Le Cailar, the “Balade Le culte du taureau” is an easy, 12.7-kilometre circular hike with yellow waymarks leading into the natural habitat of Camargue bulls and horses. Along the way, these animals typical of the Camargue can be experienced up close.

Culture
The Arènes de la Glacière in Le Cailar began operating in 1905. They are a place of bullfighting culture, social exchange and village life.
The Saint Étienne Church is listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments. Construction of the Temple de Le Cailar began in February 1818 and was completed at the end of October of the same year.
The Pont du Grès spans the Rhôny and connects the historic centre of Le Cailar with the newer district to the north. A large covered washhouse was built north of Le Cailar in 1899.
The artistic signage in Le Cailar comprises 116 panels within the village and 20 outside it. These include panels by the painter François BOISROND, which point out shops and sights in the village streets.
Empègues are stencil drawings that young people from the village put on residents’ doors during the Aubades to collect money for the Fête votive.
Cuisine
At Manade Aurélie Puig, regional products such as bull sausage, terrine and tapenade are sampled with a welcome drink. At “Camargue Autrefois”, a tasting of wines from Costières de Nîmes is offered.
