The Capitelle de l'Avencas route starts and ends in Issirac and passes through the municipalities of Issirac, Laval-Saint-Roman and Saint-Christol-de-Rodières. It is an easy, 11.3-kilometre circular route with yellow markings and takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes. The route leads through the surrounding plain and to small dry-stone huts known as “bories”. One of the two heritage sites to discover along the route is La Ferme Familiale: La Bergerie du Mouton Noir. The car park at Stade d'Issirac is indicated as a parking option.

The Forêt de Valbonne Natura 2000 site extends across parts of the municipality of Issirac. Rare and protected animal and plant species, as well as diverse vegetation, can be found in this area. Forêt de Valbonne includes beech stands at low altitudes between 100 and 300 metres. The area's old holm-oak forests have reached a remarkable maturity.
