The Église Saint-André has been protected as a historic monument of France since 15 March 1973 and is already mentioned in records from 1256. It consists of a single nave without side chapels. The Romanesque Saint-André Chapel in Conqueyrac dates from the 12th century. The Saint-André cemetery chapel in Conqueyrac stands on an isolated hill above the riverbed of the Vidourle.

Nature

The Vidourle runs through Conqueyrac, which belongs to the landscape unit “Plaine du Vidourle de Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort”. The Natura 2000 site “gorges de Rieutord, Fage et Cagnasse” (bird protection area FR 9112012) extends partly across the municipality of Conqueyrac. Conqueyrac includes important areas for birds; among others, Bonelli’s eagle lives here.
