In Thézan-des-Corbières, winegrowing and the garrigue meet. At Château de Saint-Estève, the Latham family welcomes visitors year-round for tours and wine tastings. Château de Saint-Estève extends across 120 hectares of vineyards, part of which lies in the Cru-Boutenac terroir, and is shaped by the heritage of Henri de Monfreid, an adventurer and writer from the region.

Wine and culture
The history of winegrowing includes the Cellier Roque d'Agnel winery in Thézan, which was probably built by Jules-Pierre Reverdy in 1919. Villeneuve carried out its extension in several construction phases; the year 1951 is engraved in the cement of the staircase structure.
Château Aiguilloux offers a catering service year-round and hosts winemakers' tables in the park during the summer.
Cycling
The “Entre Montagut et La Recaoufa” mountain-bike circuit can be started in Thézan-des-Corbières at the Communauté de Communes car park.
It is 59 kilometres long, has 1,798 metres of elevation gain and is considered very difficult. After the Communauté de Communes car park, the circuit leaves the village via Rue du Moulin à Vent.
Farm and culinary delights
Ferme du Montagut produces various cheeses bearing the “Pays Cathare” designation, including Ecu, Ecusson and Tomme. Visitors can also taste natural yoghurt, fresh milk and aromatic herbs there.
Ferme du Montagut is open to families for visits during opening hours. The goats are milked daily by appointment at 8 a.m.
Since 2007, the farm has kept a herd of 100 Alpine and Saanen goats in a protected garrigue landscape.
Landscape
Château Aiguilloux covers 125 hectares, including 37 hectares of vineyards surrounded by 95 hectares of woodland and garrigue. The “Découverte du Pays Corbières Minervois” route passes through charming villages and preserved landscapes.
