Ribaute is a medieval village built around a 12th-century church. Ribaute preserves medieval lanes and remnants of its former fortifications. The village church of Ribaute can be visited. The former keep of Ribaute was converted into a bell tower.
The restoration of the church in Ribaute was completed in 2017; its interior was completely renovated while preserving the former spatial design. The listed painting of Saint Sebastian was also restored.
Nature
Below the village of Ribaute, the Orbieu forms remarkable cascades. The Orbieu near Ribaute is promoted as a bathing area. At Plan d’eau Les Fargues in Ribaute, supervised swimming is offered daily from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. from 5 July to 24 August; parking is subject to a fee.

At Domaine Les Cascades, tours and tastings of the products made there are offered. Domaine Les Cascades also offers introductory wine-tasting courses and courses on discovering truffles.
At Château Cicéron, commented tastings are offered of the estate’s wines from AOC Corbières and IGP Pays d’Oc. Château Cicéron’s experimental vineyard can be discovered as part of guided tours with commentary.
At Château Ardolou, tastings of the estate’s red wine are offered year-round by appointment; visitors can take bottles of this red wine with them.
