Speloncato lies along the Route des Sens authentiques – A Strada di i Sensi, a discovery trail showcasing local crafts and special products from the microregion. A Petra Tafunata is a perforated stone: at the spring and autumn equinoxes, rays of sunlight pass through it and illuminate the 570-metre-high rocky summit on which the village was built.

Culture and Landscape
San Michele is one of Speloncato’s two parish churches and dates from the 15th century. San Michele houses religious works of art considered treasures of Corsican cultural heritage. According to local tradition, the church of San Michele in Speluncatu is said to have been built in a cave; traces of this cave are visible in a side cupboard and from the outside.
The Saint-Philippe Chapel is an 18th-century building located along the Giustignani cultural trail. It stands on a rocky outcrop and offers an impressive view over the Reginu Valley. The chapel is located in a Natura 2000 area where red kites are found.
Santa Catalina is a former Pieve church dating from the 11th century. Today, it is home to the Sant Antone Abbate brotherhood. The “Cabane de Noël” in Speloncato is a distinctive form of the Christmas fire tradition and is considered a defining feature of the village’s identity.

The location of A Cima offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes of Speloncato. Speloncato can be explored on foot via narrow lanes lined with tall, typical houses, some of which are built directly into the rock.
Paths and Routes
The Boucle du Reginu loop in Speloncato is a very easy, family-friendly mountain bike route. The Boucle de Tuani loop, on the other hand, is a difficult mountain bike route intended for experienced athletes.
