Gudmont-Villiers: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The 19-kilometre circular trail Les Plateaux – PR No. 4 begins in Gudmont-Villiers. The trail follows the GRP Marne et Rognon through wooded sections and along ridges above the Marne and Blaiseron valleys. Hiking, mountain biking and horse riding are possible on Les Plateaux – PR No. 4.

Culture and history

The Church of Saint-Maurice in Gudmont houses the sculptural group Mise au tombeau. It comprises eight statues and is attributed to Etienne Bancelin, a sculptor from Joinville.

The Château de Gudmont was built in the 16th century by the knight Guillaume de Thélin. A vaulted room in the Château de Gudmont is completely decorated with frescoes dating from 1578. The exterior areas and the garden of the Château de Gudmont can be visited.

The Church of Saint-Gorgon in Gudmont was built on a Latin cross floor plan. The choir, crossing and bell tower date from the 13th century.
