Culture and Village Character

Mesnil-Sellières has the traditional settlement form of a “village-rue”: a main street crossed by lanes. The oldest houses in Mesnil-Sellières are half-timbered houses with the traditional “basse-goutte” roof design, in which the roof slope extends almost to the ground.

The old road called “Voie romaine” runs along the D960 between La Belle Epine and Assencières.
