Saint-Gervais-La-Forêt: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Culture

Jean-Eugène Robert-Houdin bought the house known as “Le Prieuré” in Saint-Gervais-la-Forêt on 17 January 1849. The first official and authentic mention of the church of Saint-Gervais opposite Blois dates from 1034. The château on the Loire dominates the hillside opposite the town of Blois; it belongs to the de Warren family, whose ancestor Louis-Catherine Bergevin had it built in the mid-19th century.
