The old village of Fénay is grouped around the historic church. It is protected as a historic monument. Its choir dates from the early 12th century and has three apsidioles in the form of barrel vaults (cul-de-four), corresponding to the three original naves. The church also contains a tomb slab dating from 1516, engraved with the effigy of Antoinette de D’Inteville.

Culture
Fort de Beauregard lies on the border between Longvic and Fénay. It covers an area of 5.55 hectares, three-fifths of which are located in Fénay. The fort includes a drawbridge described as unique in the Dijon region. During Heritage Days, Fort de Beauregard was opened to the public.
Nature
Fénay is located in the agriculturally influenced Fossé bressan plain. The Fénay arboretum has existed since 1995 and contains more than 200 trees representing 28 different species, including 16 deciduous and 12 conifer species. The Sansfond stream rises west of the Fénay area between the hamlets of Domois and Chevigny and flows south towards Saulon-la-Rue.
Hiking trails
The Circuit des Cent Fonts is a moderately difficult, 11-kilometre circular trail with a duration of approximately three hours and yellow waymarking. It passes through Domois, one of Fénay’s three hamlets, and follows the Cent Fonts watercourse at the beginning of the route. The GR de pays long-distance hiking trail “Sur les traces des moines de Cîteaux” also crosses the western part of the Fénay area.
Geographical location
Fénay is located at the intersection of the A31 and A311 motorways, as well as on the major M996 road axis running north–south between Dijon and Seurre and the M108 axis running east–west.
