Culture and History
The Église Saint Luperc in Rimbez-et-Baudiets stands on a site that was already in use in the early Middle Ages; the necropolis surrounding the building provides evidence of this. The church was built in 1095 through a donation by Bernard de Fourcès.
The building history of the Église Saint Luperc is also visible in several sections: it has a flat-ended chancel from the 12th century, built of medium-sized masonry, a south aisle from the 13th century, a porch, a triangular bell tower and a rectangular tower from the 14th century. A rectory incorporated into the building in the 17th century completes the ensemble with an irregular arrangement of roofs.
The Auberge de la Croûte de Pin is a municipal building from the 19th century that formerly served as an inn and a post relay station. Stagecoach drivers stopped there to eat and rest their horses. The building that later became the Auberge de la Croûte de Pin was the Hotel de Rimbez at the beginning of the 20th century and was completely renovated and brought into compliance with the applicable standards in 2015. La Croûte de Pin is a bistro-restaurant of the Auberge de Rimbez.

Nature
Around 90 % of the area of Rimbez-et-Baudiets is forested, mainly with maritime pines as well as deciduous trees along the waterways, including oaks, beeches, chestnuts and acacias.
Rimbez-et-Baudiets is part of the Natura 2000 site La Gélise. This site includes the Gélise River and its main left-bank tributaries, covers 27 municipalities over 3,800 ha and includes Rimbez-et-Baudiets. The Natura 2000 site La Gélise lists 11 species of community interest.
Cycling and Tradition
The official C11 cycling route “Balade gabardanne” is 69 km long and is classified as easy for road bikes and VTCs; as a designated circular cycle route, it allows visitors to discover the Rimbez-et-Baudiets region and its landscape.
Traditional hunting is practised in the palombière in Rimbez-et-Baudiets.
