Culture and History
The Église Saint-Étienne in Biarrotte was built in the 12th century and is a masterpiece of Romanesque art. Its fortifications were intended to protect the population during attacks. By decree of 10 January 2008, the Église Saint-Étienne was listed as a historic monument in France.
The Château de La Mayou was renovated around 1834. The Maison Mayou dates back to the 17th century; its wooded park is classified.

Bodies of Water and Trails
Lac de Bédorède is a private body of water that extends across the municipalities of Biarrotte, Sainte-Marie-de-Gosse and Saint-Laurent-de-Gosse. Fishing in Lac de Bédorède is strictly prohibited; swimming and water sports are also prohibited there.
The “Entre bois et lac à Biarrotte” route is currently closed due to work.
