Culture and history
The Hospitaller church of Roquebrune dates from the 12th and 13th centuries. The Church of Saint John the Baptist has a rectangular floor plan with a flat-ended chancel.
The commandery of Roquebrune was a hospital in the 12th century and was surrounded by ditches with a drawbridge in the 14th century. The commandery’s church is used for services, exhibitions and concerts.
Roquebrune’s preserved “quai à vendanges” was maintained and redesigned by the municipality.
