Puynormand: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

The apse and part of the façade of the Église Saint-Hilaire are Romanesque. The building dates from the 16th century and comprises three naves, each with two bays, as well as an octagonal bell tower. By decree of 24 December 1925, the church was listed as a historic monument.

The Écomusée du Libournais displays part of its collections on viticulture and agriculture at Château Vilatte in Puynormand. Old tools and agricultural machinery are exhibited in the former barn of Château Vilatte. The Écomusée du Libournais in Puynormand also offers guided tours of the collections, nature walks and treasure hunts.

Château Vilatte offers tours, tastings and sales throughout the year, preferably by appointment.

The Château de Pressac, the historic site of Abbaye Notre-Dame de la Faise, Château Ferrand and the historic site of Gallo-Roman Villa are located in the surrounding area of Puynormand.

Nature

The botanical discovery trail passes through the vineyards and forests of Château Vilatte, showcasing the grape varieties grown there as well as around thirty plant species. Access to the botanical discovery trail is by appointment.
