Étauliers hosts the Fête de l’Asperge du Blayais every year, an event dedicated to asparagus bearing the Blayais IGP designation, local producers and gastronomic expertise. Held in the centre of Étauliers, it includes a food market, cooking demonstrations, concerts, activities for children and visits to asparagus fields.

Nature
The Marais de la Vergne is of ecological, faunal and floral interest; the groups of animals found there include, among others, fish, amphibians, birds, mammals and insects. The reproduction of the white stork is considered certain or probable in this area. The marsh is a type 1 continental ZNIEFF area covering 931.02 hectares and encompassing Étauliers as well as Eyrans, Braud-et-Saint-Louis and Anglade.
The Sentier du canal de la Barbotière is a 7-kilometre out-and-back or circular trail near Étauliers; the starting point is near the former railway station of Braud-et-Saint-Louis. The trail follows the canal through meadows, reed beds and willow groves. In spring, groups of white storks can be observed along the Sentier.
Culture
The Église Sainte-Marie-Madeleine d’Étauliers is a neo-Gothic church dating from the late 19th century. It was built in place of the former church, which had been damaged by fire.
In the wider regional area around Étauliers, Château Talbot is a château. The Église Saint-Martin de Petit-Niort and the Abbaye de l'Isle are also located there, each being a historic site, as is the Grotte de Pair-non-Pair, a cave. The Étauliers–Blaye section of the Voie de Tours is designated as a pilgrimage route and is lined with meadows, forests and vineyards.
