The Church of Saint-Léger was first mentioned in 1262. A new Church of Saint-Léger was completed in 1844 after the previous church had been destroyed in 1843; it was based on plans by the architect Laubser.

The geodetic stele of Oberhergheim was erected in 1804 and protected as an immovable monument on 5 December 1979. It has a pyramidal shape, consists of a base and six stone blocks arranged one above the other, and is surrounded by an irregular circle of twelve marker stones with rounded tips.

The Vauban Canal was constructed at the end of the 17th century between Ensisheim and Oberhergheim to supply water to the canal between Rouffach and Neuf-Brisach, which was begun in 1697.
