The Jewish cemetery of Jungholtz was established at the beginning of the 17th century in the moats of the former Château de Schauenbourg and is listed in the register of historic monuments. It preserves hundreds of graves.

Culture
The building of the yeshiva is the only surviving remnant of the former synagogue and Talmud school of Jungholtz.
The modern concrete Saint Joseph Chapel stands in the centre of Jungholtz at the foot of a shady vineyard slope and was built from May 1957 to December 1958.
The present-day Notre-Dame de Thierenbach Basilica is a church in the Austrian Baroque style, built by Peter Thumb in 1723. It offers panoramic views extending across the Alsatian plain and is located between the “Promenade au pied de Sainte Anne” hiking trail and the starting point of the Stations of the Cross.
Jungholtz takes part in the European Heritage Days and seeks to find a local theme that is as closely aligned as possible with the national or regional theme selected each year.

Walking Trails
The Sentier pédagogique du Vallon de Thierenbach is a very easy, 2.6-kilometre walking trail with a duration of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Along the trail, information panels explain the history of the basilica and the valley, as well as the local fauna and flora.
