History
The galleries of the Théophile Mine reach heights of up to four metres. During the German occupation, the Théophile Mine served as a refuge for the inhabitants of Urbeis. It is currently closed to the public.

The Chemin du patrimoine begins in Urbeis’s central village square and is marked with symbols in the form of miners’ tools. The trail is four kilometres long, takes around two hours, and passes the Maison du mineur and the Théophile Mine.
