Culture
The old town is predominantly characterised by buildings from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, while the layout of its streets and alleyways dates back to the Middle Ages. Activities
The Pumptrack de Bouxwiller is free and open to everyone 24 hours a day, every day. It is suitable for bicycles, BMX bikes, scooters and inline skates, and includes rollers, banked curves and technical sections.
At the foot of Bastberg lies the visitor-oriented Ferme Hexe Hoft, with horses, ponies, chickens, rabbits and sheep. The site includes gardens, fruit trees, a barefoot trail, a drinks station and a picnic area. Ferme Hexe Hoft also offers the “Atelier du parfait petit fermier” workshop by reservation and subject to the schedule.
The Bouxwiller Christmas market attracts thousands of visitors every year. Bouxwiller is also described as the birthplace of the pretzel.
