Another distinctive landmark is the Orthodox church of Treimani. It was completed in 1935 and designed by the architect Märt Merivälja. The building is an immovable monument of architecture with registration number 16645. Its national romantic character is evident in the hipped roof and the small round tent roof tower on the roof ridge. It is also particularly notable for what was not built: the originally planned onion-shaped tower was not constructed at the request of the local population.
