Dit Museum Ølgod focuses on the history of Danish agriculture and illustrates the development from poor heath farmer to democratic farmer. Exhibits include a steam engine, a centrifuge, a butter churn and a kneading table.

The names of the two lakes tell the story of their natural history. Guldsmedesøen was given its name in 2018 after a rare green hawker dragonfly was found there.
