It marks the original coastline of Vallensbæk Beach. Its surface is covered with a self-luminous layer, allowing it to appear as a glowing monument in Strandparken during the hours of darkness.

In front of Vallensbæk Station stands the artwork “Multitudes”, consisting of four concrete blocks with amethysts cast into them. PULS, an exhibition venue for video art featuring the exhibition “Under Broerne”, is also located near the station. PULS primarily presents contemporary art and opened in April 2025. During the year, it occasionally also shows films about and from Vallensbæk’s club and activity life. Vallensbæk Station itself is an S-train station on the Køge Bay railway line and can be taken into account when planning your journey and local transport.
