Jenišovice U Chrudimi: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Culture and History
The Church of the Holy Trinity dominates the centre of Jenišovice; it is included in the state list of cultural monuments. The single-nave Early Gothic church has a set-back polygonal chancel and a prismatic tower on the façade. It dates from around the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries and stands above the road on a small hill.
In front of the Church of the Holy Trinity there is a protected crucifix. In front of the entrance to the cemetery by the church there is also a stone cross in the Empire style; it was erected in 1808 at the expense of Jakub Dostál.
Musical instruments were formerly manufactured and repaired in Jenišovice. The Jenišovice fire brigade actively participates in various fire brigade anniversaries and is represented there by an old Škoda 125, described as the only vehicle of its kind in Bohemia.
