Červenka: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Červenka combines cultural history, nature and cycling routes. A particularly distinctive feature is the Church of St. Alphonsus: it is the only church in the Czech Republic dedicated to Saint Alphonsus. It was solemnly consecrated on 20 August 1862. Since the 1970s, a nativity scene has been displayed there every year at Christmas, with fresh moss from the forest used for its design each time.

Culture and history

The original small château served Archduke Maximilian Habsburg as a railway waiting building. The Redemptorists adapted the small château for their purposes. Another testament to the history of the locality is the classicist Chapel of St. Pavlína, which was built by 1798 and is protected as a monument.

Nature

The U Přejezdu natural monument protects naturally occurring orchid populations and their habitat in a near-natural mixed deciduous forest community. The U hranic hill [Uničov-Dětřichov] is located in the vicinity of Červenka. The Mlýnský vrch hill [Bílá Lhota-Řimice] is located in the surroundings of Červenka. The Skalka and Skalice mountains are also located in the wider regional surroundings of Červenka.
