Dolní Sytová: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The archaeological castle site in Dolní Sytová is located on a prominent hill with a summit plateau. A ditch and probably a well or cistern have been preserved.

Culture

The wooden bell tower of Dolní Sytová is a štenýř-type bell chamber and was built in 1790. It has a conical, octagonal shape and a shingle roof. The bell tower rings daily with an electrically operated and electronically controlled bell.

The Peřimovský Bridge is a reinforced-concrete road bridge built in 1912, with a segmental arch and a clear span of 45 metres. Its distinctive structural features include unusual wrought-iron railings with concrete posts. Its rendered façades are decorated with twelve recessed panels each.

Nature

Giant potholes are visible in the Jizera near the Peřimovský Bridge in Dolní Sytová. They range in size from several decimetres to several metres. The potholes formed because the strong current of the Jizera, carrying pebbles and sand caught in eddies, scoured depressions in the riverbed or in large stones.

Spalona Stražnica is a ruin in the wider regional surroundings of Dolní Sytová. Lázně is a church there, as is Valdštejn.
