Kojšovice is listed in the heritage protection ordinance issued in 1995 as a historic village centre with preserved ensembles of folk architecture. Examples of 18th- and 19th-century folk architecture can be found in the village. The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows was built at the beginning of the 19th century on the village green in the centre of Kojšovice.

Nature

The Niva Střely landscape unit in Kojšovice comprises meadows, a naturally meandering watercourse and species-rich riverside vegetation. It is classified as an element that contributes to ecological stability.

The Pod vsí landscape unit comprises a valley with small streams, grassland and diverse scattered vegetation. Below the pond, it includes a characteristic valley wetland. Pod vsí is designated as a centre of biodiversity.

The Krásný Hrad landscape unit comprises wet meadows and sparse woodland in the valley floor. The slopes feature drier meadows with field margins and small areas of woodland. Krásný Hrad is designated as an example of a balanced cultural landscape.

The Pod Saharou landscape unit comprises a former extraction site, damp to marshy grassland, living peat moss communities and sparse woodland. Pod Saharou is designated as a centre of biodiversity and a refuge for rare plant species.

Geographical location

The Novy Dvur Monastery is located in the vicinity of Kojšovice. Mount Homolka is located nearby. The Třebouň, Hůrka and Prachometský kopec mountains are also located in the surrounding area.
