Doubi: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Doubí combines historical landmarks at the castle and chateau with nature experiences in the Slavkovský les Protected Landscape Area. The name of Doubí Castle has been documented since the mid-14th century. Doubí Chateau acquired its Baroque appearance between 1739 and 1756, and a park with a viewing terrace was laid out there in the 17th century.

Nature

Doubí is located in the Slavkovský les Protected Landscape Area. The freely accessible Svatý Linhart game reserve covers 40 hectares. A bridge system takes the trail there to heights of up to six metres in places. The Svatý Linhart treetop trail includes two wooden treehouses and a viewing platform connected by walkable footbridges.

From Doubí, you can climb up to the former “Sv. Linhart” excursion restaurant and try out attractions at the climbing centre there.

Culture

The Vánoční dům in Doubí features a year-round exhibition of Christmas ornaments and decorations. It is the first and only Christmas house in the Czech Republic. The Café Andělská at Vánoční dům serves Christmas pastries and Vánočka.

Getting Around

The Ohře Valley, accessible from Doubí, can only be reached on foot or by bicycle. The starting point of the route through the Ohře Valley can be reached from the Tržnice stop by public transport bus no. 6.
