Culture and History

The Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene is a landmark of Kamenice. A viewpoint in the vicinity of the Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene offers views of Sokolovsko, Chebsko, Lake Medard and some areas of nearby Germany.

The late Baroque Church of St. Peter and Paul is one of the most significant monuments in Kostelní Bříza. The fortification of Kostelní Bříza has a diameter of 18–20 metres.

The Kulturní dům a Multifunkční centrum Březová is a renovated multipurpose cultural and social facility in Březová u Sokolova. It includes the Admira digital cinema and also has an open-air amphitheatre.

Routes

The “Zaniklé obce Březovska” educational trail is 63.5 km long in total and is particularly suitable for pedestrians and cyclists. It passes through 18 villages that have partially or completely disappeared.
