Lánov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Lánovská stezka trail in the cadastral area of Horní Lánov is intended for pedestrians. It is equipped with play elements and rest areas, conveys ecological knowledge, and promotes a positive relationship with nature and the surrounding area.

Regular bus services serve Lánov and stop at two stops.

History and Culture

The first documentary evidence of Lánov dates from 1355. The Křížová cesta Stations of the Cross is located west of Horní Lánov. The original Stations of the Cross consisted of fourteen stone chapels depicting the Stations of the Cross; the stations were repaired in 2011.

Activities

At the Rodinná farma Teri farm in Horní Lánov, children and adults can go horseback riding. Beginners can take paid lessons there; children can ride guided horses.

The lánovský Minikvíz z myslivosti comprises nine stations with questions about wildlife and plants. Letiště Vrchlabí airport in the cadastral area of Prostřední Lánov offers sightseeing flights.

The section of the Malé Labe between Horní Lánov and Prostřední Lánov is rated WW III–II and is navigable only in spring during the snowmelt.
