Sutomišćica: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The historic villagescape of Sutomišćica includes the Baroque country house Lantana, dating from the 17th century. It features an extensive park and a chapel and displays all the characteristics of Venetian Baroque architecture. Until the fall of Venice in 1797, the ceremonial transfer of office of the Venetian doge for Dalmatia and Albania was held here.

Culture and History
The sacred buildings also reach far back into history. The Church of Sveti Grgur in Sutomišćica was first mentioned on 10 January 1398. The parish church of Saint Euphemia is mentioned in a record from 1349; a new church is mentioned for 1679. The medallions kept in the parish church of Saint Euphemia are a cultural asset of the Republic of Croatia.
The Chapel of Sveti Grgur stands at Cape Sveti Grgur and was restored in the 15th century. The remains of a monastery complex and the Sveti Mihovil fortress can also be found on Vela Glava mountain.
Coast and Sea
Plaža Sutomišćica is a pebble beach in the middle of the village with a gently sloping entrance to the sea. Its facilities include sun loungers, a shower and a changing room; there is also natural shade.
Sutomiška vala is a concrete beach at Cape Sveti Grgur, at the very end of Sutomišćica. It has a well-developed access to the sea. The rear part of Cape Sveti Grgur is rocky and surrounded by cypress trees.
Landscape and Nature
Sutomišćica is situated in a sheltered bay on the east coast of the island of Ugljan. Vela Glava mountain offers panoramic views of the city of Zadar and the Zadar Archipelago.
The island of Ugljan has numerous developed cycling paths that lead through centuries-old olive groves and cultivated fields. Sutomišćica is connected to Zadar by a boat service from the port of Preko, 2 km away.
