Culture and History
The parish church of Košute is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It was built and consecrated on 15 June 2007; the altar contains relics of Blessed Alojzije Stepinac.
The Chapel of Saint Stephen by the roadside in front of the primary school was built in 2000. Historical documents already describe Košute in the 15th century.

Košute is considered a place with a fertile plain along the Cetina.
The surroundings of Košute include Vranjača, Golubinka, Slanica, Jelinak, Sveti Luka, Sveti Nikola and Sveti Petar. Sveti Ivan is also located nearby.
Active Holidays
The Brodarić cycle path is a 10.5-kilometre route from Trilj via Konjušnica, Košute and Brodarić back to Trilj. The route passes the Trilj Museum.
The local riding opportunities include horseback riding through the surrounding landscapes.
