Landscape
Recently restored dry-stone walls run along the eastern and western sides of Lokva u Gaćelezima. Two entrances are located at the northern and southern edges of the water area. The open space around Lokva u Gaćelezima covers 3,000 m², while the water surface itself covers 500 m².
Sacred Sites and Fortifications
Crkva Sv. Ante is a historic sacred building in Gaćelezi and was probably built in the 15th century.
Kapelica sv. Ante is located at the rural spring Čatrnja in Gaćelezi. It was erected on the restored dry-stone wall of Lokva u Gaćelezima.
The fortifications Fort Saint John, Fort Saint Michael, Fort Saint Nicholas and Barone Fortress are each located approximately in the area around Gaćelezi.
Waterfalls and Islands in the Surrounding Area
The waterfalls Skradinski buk and Slapovi Krke are located approximately in the area around Gaćelezi.
The islands Otočić Prišnjak and Otočić Logorun are located approximately in the area around Gaćelezi.
Connections
For the period 2025–2026, a regional bus connection between Bilostanovi, Čista Velika, Gaćelezi and Vodice was planned. A path connects Vodice and Gaćelezi.
