Coast and Activities
Rajska plaža is Lopar’s largest and best-known sandy beach. The 1.5-kilometre-long sandy beach offers swimming, beach volleyball, tennis, pedal boating, kayaks, SUPs, jet skis, banana boat rides and the Aquagan water slides.
Half-day glass-bottom boat excursions are offered daily in the waters around the town as well as to Goli otok and Grgur.

Landscape
The Lopar Significant Landscape area is protected. Geological Garden Lopar features 50 marked geological points with fossils, unusually shaped rocks and geological profiles.
Culture and History
The Čovik i more Interpretation Center is dedicated to preserving and presenting Lopar’s aquaculture and maritime heritage. The four thematic rooms cover history, seafaring and fishing, island life and traditional cuisine. Admission is free for all visitors; the centre is considered to be open year-round.
The Podšilo archaeological site contains a partially preserved Roman pottery kiln. The Rab Archaeological (T)races include the Epario educational trail in Lopar. The project presents the cultural heritage through 34 information points connected by educational trails with a total length of around 40 kilometres in Lopar and neighbouring parts of Rab Island. The mobile application of the Rab Archaeological (T)races works offline and is intended for walkers, cyclists and hikers.
The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located near the ferry port of Lopar. It is mentioned in municipal records from the 14th century and contains a late Romanesque wooden relief from the 14th century. Tourists and pilgrims visit the church.
Trails and Cycling
Lopar MTB 1 is a 26.2-kilometre mountain bike route of moderate difficulty with 468 metres of elevation gain and an estimated duration of 2 hours and 45 minutes. The return route follows the Premužić Trail and offers views of the Velebit Channel.
Local Cuisine
Pumidorfest is a food festival in Lopar featuring dishes made with local tomatoes and a tourist competition for preparing salsa.
