The Kolmanica Trail starts in Garica. It is an easy circular hiking trail 7.2 kilometres long with 151 metres of elevation gain. It leads past old dry-stone walls and through olive groves and is suitable for easy hiking and trekking.

Culture and History

The Church of Saint Peter the Apostle stands in the centre of Garica. It was built in 1793 using material from a former church in Kampelje dating from the 12th century. The annual Petrovo Festival takes place on 29 June in honour of Saint Peter.

Nearby, the Kolmanica Trail passes the remains of the medieval Church of Saint Chrysogonus. Its Romanesque features indicate that it dates from the 12th or 13th century; the trail continues to Gradec Castle, which is associated with the Frankopan counts.
