Culture and History
The Chapel of the Holy Family, built in 1897, stands on Ferenci’s main road. The Church of Saint Lawrence is located west of Ferenci. It was built in the 17th century on the site of a 12th-century church and contains a masonry altar with a wooden reredos, as well as a painting of Saint Lawrence. Archaeological investigations near Ferenci identified the remains of a Slavic necropolis dating from the 7th century.
Cycling Routes
The Vižinada cycle route (101) begins in Ferenci and reaches a section of the former narrow-gauge railway Parenzana at an intersection. From there, it continues towards Vižinada. The 24-kilometre route is connected to several other cycle routes and has five notable photo spots.
The Trail of Delicious Flavours and Adventures (102) is 30 kilometres long and connected to several other trails; it also includes a short visit to agrotourisms in Ferenci.
