Vidovići: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Vidovići is a settlement on a hillside at an altitude of 280 metres, offering views across large parts of the Kvarner region.

Hiking

The Cres Hike 2024 programme included a guided hike along the Martinšćica–Vidovići–Martinšćica route. It was rated as moderately difficult and began at the car park in Martinšćica.

The Martinšćica–Vidovići–Helm–Lubenice tour covered 12 kilometres. The route to Vidovići followed either a paved road or an old, rocky hairpin trail.

Culture and local history

A centenary celebration was held in Vidovići for the Church of Saint Anne. The Feast of Saint Anne was organised by local enthusiasts for many years.

The local history book “Naši stari Vidovšćani” is written in the local dialect. The Ethno Museum of Vidovići was set up in a family room. A small museum in Vidovići displays objects related to the village.

An old road to Vidovići is used for a cycling race every year.
