Rakov Potok: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

On 29 June 2025, a round of the Open Croatian Motocross Championship took place in Rakov Potok.

The Draga racing track in Rakov Potok had a licence valid until 2027 and is 1.5 km long. The 2025 motocross programme at the Draga track included memorial classes for Kreše Purić, Branko Rončević and Igor Krpan. The Draga track is suitable for motocross, supercross, quad training and competitions, as well as various team-building activities by prior registration; catering can also be arranged by prior registration.

Park Želja is located in the peaceful, green surroundings of Rakov Potok between Zagreb and Samobor. The park provides a setting for outdoor weddings.

Culture and History

The Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Rakov Potok was founded on 14 September 1945 by separating it from the Parish of Sveti Martin pod Okićem. The parish church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus stands on the site of a chapel built in 1903.

The Krčma “Lovcu” in Rakov Potok serves suckling pig. Kokošvaroš in Rakov Potok is an organic poultry farm and an educational tourism project that informs visitors about poultry farming. At the same time, Kokošvaroš is a chicken coop designed as a small settlement with accommodation units, services, shops, streets and public buildings.
