Plesmo is located at the southern entrance to Lonjsko Polje Nature Park. At the Strug, there is a solar-powered boat landing stage from which leisurely boat trips lead through Lonjsko polje. The park describes the boats as being designed for up to twelve people. These trips offer views of beaver habitats, grazing livestock and the birdlife associated with Lonjsko polje.

Routes

From Plesmo, the local route PPLP/LPNP 2 leads through the Rastina floodplain forest. The same route connects the Sava National Route, also known as the Posavina Route, with Route SMŽ 1.

Culture

Plesmo is a protected historic rural ensemble; its settlement structure has been preserved from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. At the same time, Plesmo is considered one of the best-preserved Posavina villages associated with the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

House Plesmo 66 retains its original form and represents traditional construction methods and rural life in the early 20th century. House Plesmo 60 was built at the beginning of the 20th century with walls made of hewn oak logs.

According to its own statements, Ekoetno Selo Strug prepares homemade bread, pasta and gnocchi according to Posavina recipes, using vegetables from nearby family farms.
