During an educational visit in 2024, participants took part in a wet-felting workshop and made a souvenir in the shape of a chestnut cone. Also as part of an educational visit in 2024, Woonko-Centar vune Majur presented an interactive sheep-shearing experience using VR headsets and a sheep game. The first Festival vune in Majur took place on 15 April 2023 on the occasion of International Wool Day.

Cycling route and landscape

The local route PPLP 01 passes through Majur; it is a 23.7-kilometre cycling tourism route. It runs through flat lowlands, includes some more challenging climbs, and crosses cultural landscapes associated with the Sava and Una rivers, settlements, and the forests of Banovina and Pounje. Signage for route PPLP 01 is described at intervals of three kilometres.

Local information

Majur has a railway station on the regional line R102. This line runs between Sunja, Volinja and the state border in the direction of Dobrljin.
