Culture and History
Miljana is located next to the Sutla River. Dvorac Miljana is a single-storey, four-winged castle with an arcaded inner courtyard. The castle contains a cycle of Rococo frescoes with allegorical scenes and landscapes, attributed to A. Lerchinger and his collaborators. Dvorac Miljana was first mentioned in 1597 as the property of the Rattkay family.
The park of Dvorac Miljana is a protected monument of garden architecture, covers 1.75 hectares, and has been protected since 1973. In the surrounding area is the Chapel of Saint John in Ivanić Miljanski, which was built and consecrated in the mid-15th century. Visits to Dvorac Miljana are intended for visitor groups announced in advance.

Landscape and Surroundings
The Sutla Tourism Zone supports cross-border hiking, cycling, and travel on the water between Croatia and Slovenia. On both sides, it connects natural, thermal, and cultural attractions. The area surrounding Miljana includes Pišečki grad, Vrenski Zob, Spiçek, Kuna Gora, and Bohor.
Cycling
The Dolinom rijeke Sutle route is an easy, 42-kilometre circular route. It passes the Baroque castle of Dvorac Miljana, which is situated on a river slope. The route runs on asphalt and is designated for road or trekking bikes.
