Čazma: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Čazma combines a public biological bathing facility with natural and cultural attractions. The facility uses biofiltration instead of chlorine and offers swimming, recreation, relaxation and events. Those who have chosen Čazma as their destination may want to rent a holiday apartment.

Nature

On the Čazma side of Moslavačka gora, Mjesec is the highest peak. Moslavačka gora offers opportunities for easy hiking and cycling.

Medjame is an almost two-kilometre-long raised wooden walkway through a semi-wetland area, located around a ten-minute walk from the centre of Čazma. The area is an important habitat for wetland birds and amphibians; information panels explain local plant and animal species.

In Vustje, a raised wooden interpretation trail ends at a platform for observing birds and other animals. The Stork's Nest observation platform in Vustje offers views across the Natura 2000 site.

The Dolina Česme themed hiking trail runs for 12.5 kilometres from Vustje to Sišćane. It follows the Česma River, runs entirely through a Natura 2000 site and features benches, bicycle racks and information panels with educational content about local nature.

Culture

The parish church of St. Mary Magdalene was built in the second quarter of the 13th century and was originally the church of a Dominican monastery. The building is Romanesque-Gothic. Its western rose window has a diameter of more than six metres.

Gradina is a medieval fortress site and is protected as immovable cultural heritage of Croatia.

The Gradski muzej Čazma is a general museum in the Čazma Cultural Centre. Its collection comprises more than 16,500 objects in 22 collections. The medieval archaeological collection contains finds from the medieval fortress, the monastery next to the parish church of St. Mary Magdalene, and the former site of the Church of the Holy Spirit.
